MHARS hosting open-to-the-public Focus Groups
The Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services (MHARS) Board of Lorain County is embarking on its first strategic planning process as a combined mental health and addiction agency. The MHARS Board requests that members of the public help chart the course of behavioral health care in our neighborhoods, by participating in a focus group discussion.
Please sign up for EITHER of these times for an open-to-the-public focus group facilitated by Brown Consulting, Ltd:
- March 9, 2020, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm, at the Amy Levin Center, 1165 North Ridge Road East, Lorain, Ohio; or
- March 11, 2020, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm, at Mercy Amherst HealthPlex, 47160 Hollstein Drive, Amherst, Ohio.
Also, Brown Consulting is providing another focus group specifically for people who have received mental health or substance use services in Lorain County, and/or their family members. Families are invited to share what works well, and what can improve. The consumer/family focus group will be held March 9, 2020, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm, at Gathering Hope House, 1173 North Ridge Road East, Lorain, Ohio.
Register by contacting Vinaida Reyna at 440-233-2020, ext. 4225, or vreyna@lcbmh.org.
