Our friends at the Interfaith Ministries of Lorain County designed a program entitled "A Conversation with our Youth: From Maleness to Manhood" will be Saturday July 11. 2026 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Amy H. Levin Learning and Conference Center, 1165 North Ridge Road in Lorain. MHARS Board Program Officer and Certified Art Therapist Lauren Cieslak recently led an engaging "Intro to Art Therapy" workshop, helping participants discover how creative expression can support mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
A special thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County for hosting the event at their Elyria headquarters. More than 20 community members joined us for an evening of learning, creativity, and self-discovery.
Art can be a powerful tool for healing, stress relief, and personal growth and this workshop was a great reminder that wellness comes in many forms.🎨
